Whiskey Balsamic Beef Roast

Whiskey Balsamic Beef RoastThis easy slow cooker recipe doubles as a meat marinade. Simply leave out the water, combine the ingredients in a Ziploc bag and marinate your meat for up to 3 hours.

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup whiskey
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • Himalayan salt & pepper, to taste
  • Beef roast of your choosing
  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir.
  2. Cut the roast into equal parts, maximising surface area. Place beef in the slow cooker with the marinade.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours.
  4. Enjoy finger-licking goodness on a salad, alongside your favourite side dishes or on its own.
